LANSING, Mich. — Sen. Lana Theis announced Thursday she is hosting a Veterans Appreciation Thanksgiving Dinner at 5 p.m. on Nov. 23 at the Crystal Gardens Banquet Center in Howell.
Livingston County veterans will receive a free meal in appreciation for their service. Veterans may bring one guest and must RSVP at SenatorLanaTheis.com/vets by 5 p.m. on Nov. 19 to attend the dinner.
“Thanksgiving is a time to gather with family and friends in appreciation of all we have been blessed with,” said Theis, R-Brighton. “Nobody is more deserving of our thanks and appreciation than our military veterans. That is why I am proud to welcome them to my Veterans Appreciation Thanksgiving Dinner on Tuesday, Nov. 23 in Howell. I invite all veterans residing in Livingston County to bring a guest and join us for a free Thanksgiving meal. Thank you for your service!”
