Theis names new scheduler, special events coordinator

LANSING, Mich. — State Sen. Lana Theis, R-Brighton, on Tuesday announced Colin Kummerfeldt as her new scheduler and special events coordinator.

Kummerfeldt, who resides in Howell, is a recent graduate of Western Michigan University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in American public policy. During his studies, he interned for former state Sen. Dave Hildenbrand.

“We are happy to have Colin on the team,” Theis said. “He is eager to serve, learn and grow, which are all excellent qualities that will not only benefit him as he begins his career, but also the residents of the 22nd Senate District.”

Theis said that Kummerfeldt, in addition to maintaining the office schedule and coordinating district events like the senator’s coffee hours, will also contribute to other policy, legislative and constituent work.

Those interested in requesting a meeting with Theis can contact Colin via email at [email protected] or via phone by calling the office of Sen. Theis at 517-373-2420.
